Wolsey Ltd

Clothing & Accessories

Established in 1755, Wolsey is the oldest British menswear brand in the world and has been a Royal Warrant holder continuously since 1935. During the 19th century and Britain's industrial revolution, Wolsey pioneered unshrinkable wool hosiery from its origins in the East Midlands.
Wolsey underwear was selected by iconic explorers Captain Scott and Roald Amundsen in 1911 for their race to reach the South Pole. In 1919 Wolsey underwear was also supplied, in accordance with Sir Ernest Shackleton's specifications, for his Murmansk expedition.

Today Wolsey offers a wardrobe built around its heritage values of quality, reliability and craftsmanship that can withstand the demands of modern life. New technological innovations and performance fabric developments are harnessed to create garments that retain the Wolsey essence.
