Wark Farm is a 200-acre mixed farm in the foothills of the eastern edge of the Cairngorm mountain range. Sitting at about 1,000ft (330m) it is an upland cattle and sheep farm, registered organic with the Soil Association since 2006. Through our on farm butchery, we retail our Belted Galloway beef, Hebridean lamb and fine pies.
The essence of the farm is to produce high-quality food in a way which promotes high standards of animal welfare in an agri-ecological farm system. We produce beef from our herd of Belted Galloway Cattle and lamb/hogget from our Hebridean sheep sold locally though our on farm butchery. Using our meats along with local game, venison, vegetables and fish we make an extensive range of pies sold mainly to foodservice customers around Scotland.
