Taylor's Port

Taylor’s most famous vineyard estate is Quinta de Vargellas, whose wines form the backbone of the Taylor’s Vintage Port blend. The property also produces excellent Single Quinta Vintage Ports as well as Vargellas ‘Vinha Velha’, a rare Vintage Port made from a selection of grapes from the estate’s oldest vines, many over 100 years old. As well as introducing Late Bottled Vintage, a ready to drink alternative to Vintage Port for enjoying by the glass, Taylor’s also launched the first dry white Port, called Chip Dry, in 1934. The firm holds one of the most extensive cask aged reserves from which it draws its range of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 Year Old Tawny blends and rare Single Harvest Ports.
