ProEconomy is a family-run water treatment company founded in 1993. We manufacture and maintain a highly effective, compliant copper and silver ionisation system for the control of water borne pathogens in water systems. ProEconomy operate on a nationwide scale treating the water in many sites across the UK and Europe.
Founded in 1993 by Dr Birgitta Bedford (one of the few people in the UK who was awarded her PhD in Legionella control) ProEconomy have now established themselves as the market leading copper and silver ionisation company in the UK. ProEconomy provide a system called the Orca and attend sites monthly to ensure the efficient maintenance of water systems. Our engineers are based across the UK to ensure swift response times and dedicated staff to the highest level to ensure optimum customer service.
In 2020 we released a scaled-down unit of the RAY, our copper silver ionisation system, Tetras, our cloud-based water sampling software, and the Ibex range, anti-microbial copper door furniture.
