Millais Nurseries grow one of the widest ranges of rhododendrons in the world, plus camellias and magnolias. They have achieved 5 consecutive Gold Medals at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Plants are grown in peat reduced compost, and the nursery uses many organic practices to grow healthy plants.
Millais Nurseries grows about 800 different varieties of rhododendron, and more than 35,000 plants per year. These range from tiny alpine gems to tall growing large specimens for instant landscaping. The nursery has unparalleled experience in propagating choice and rare plants, including some on the Red List of Endangered Species, and making these available to other collections. The Nursery has a modern secure website with full descriptions and pictures enabling e-commerce throughout the UK, and a specialist plant centre where visitors can choose their selection.
