Established in 1934, Maissen Watches, Jewellery and Opticians is a third generation family company in Klosters. Subsequently, under the leadership of 30-year of Andreas and Susanne Maissen on the Watches and Jewellery side and Thomas Maissen as the Optician, the business has grown to a point of international repute.
Today, Susanne and Andreas's sons; Clau and Rico are leading the business as the 3rd generation. Clau, a trained Watchmaker, and his team present Switzerland's finest watches and exquisite jewellery. Their expertise allows them to personally take care of repairs and restoration of modern and antique watches and clocks. Their workshop is certified for repairs by world leading Swiss brands.
Rico, Optometrist, BSc and his team offer a wealth of brands of frames and sunglasses. Eye tests and lens appointments are part of the service they provide. Glasses are made to measure and are mounted in-house to ensure the best result for the customer.
For over 85 years, the Maissen family strives to offer an excellent customer experience by combining their expertise with up-to-date technology and personal customer interactions. This has led to many long-lasting customer relationships.
