Jen Jones began salvaging antique and vintage Welsh quilts and blankets over forty years ago. Considered by many as ‘old beddin’, they were in jeopardy. Her shop, an unspoiled vernacular cottage filled to the rafters with a splendid collection of these beautiful old Welsh textiles attracts visitors from all over the world.
Jen Jones' incredible Welsh quilt collection includes floral, paisley and solid wholecloths, patchworks, strippys and collector’s quilts plus an enormous selection of both antique and vintage Welsh blankets. Some visitors to Jen's shop are seeking out quilts for their beds, others for wall hangings and some are simply looking for a Welsh heirloom. A visit to Jen Jones' Welsh Quilts and Blankets Cottage Shop is a delightful experience as a very warm welcome or ‘croeso’ (in Welsh) awaits you. Inside, upstairs and down, you will be spoilt for choice by the deliciously colourful antique quilts, blankets, throws, shawls and so much more.
