We are a family-run grass-seed merchant based at our Kingsford store in Alford, Aberdeenshire. We pride ourselves in providing a full range of services to meet all our customers' grass and forage-seed requirements, and have our own range of grass-seed mixtures called Kingsford Quality Mixtures.
Our range of seed mixtures is designed specifically for the Scottish grass farmer. They have been designed, developed and produced in Scotland, by us, therefore our customers can be confident that our Kingsford mixtures will perform for them.
All Kingsford mixtures have been developed and designed from local and independent data derived from our experience and from the SAC (Scottish Agricultural College) Grass Levy Scheme trials. This levy scheme is voluntary, and invaluable for us to ensure that our customers have only the very best SAC first-choice varieties from all major seed-breeding programmes included in our mixtures.
