F.G. Alden Ltd has a directly employed workforce of approximately 100, with a turnover averaging £18m per annum over recent years. Our core work consists of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, domestic services, public health engineering and automatic-control installations in domestic and commercial buildings.
We have a wide range of 63 directly employed operatives of varying grades, backed up by our comprehensive internal staff of approximately 37, which includes design engineers, estimators, contract managers, quantity surveyors, detail draughtsmen/CAD operators, commissioning engineers and maintenance and small works departments.
We carry out works of a varying nature, with all elements of mechanical and public health installation being carried out by our directly employed labour. We do sub-contract elements of work, such as ductwork, thermal insulation and controls, where applicable.
