Our mission is to be a leading force of good, on behalf of the RWHA members, alleviating the suffering of those in poverty, pain or need of support, whilst also caring for the environment.
The RWH Charity donates to small, local charities in which member companies or their employees are actively involved.
The employee fundraising grant scheme is for employees of member companies who raise funds for a local charity via any method (activities, events or personal goals etc). A maximum of £500 can be match funded with the member company encouraged to match fund too. Applications can be sent in anytime during the year.
The members' local charity grant scheme is available for members supporting a local charity needing funding for a specific item, activity or project. A maximum of £3,000 can be applied for and match funding by your company is encouraged. There are three application rounds per year.
Occasionally exceptional major grants between £3,000 and £10,000 are granted, which are agreed by the Trustees. From time-to-time special grant schemes are announced.
Grants have been given to small local charities in need across the UK in 2024, supporting a diverse range of worthy causes including The Children's Surgery Foundation, Bromley Foodbank, Norfolk Accident & Rescue Service (NARS), and Dementia Support.
