The Aberdeen Warrant Holders Association celebrated its 150th Anniversary with two days of celebrations earlier this year. Starting with the Annual General Meeting, guests then toured the Balmoral Estate, including the Balmoral Platinum Jubilee exhibition, which was officially opened by the RWHA National President. Warrant holders also attended a black-tie Gala Dinner and visited fellow member, Royal Lochnagar, for a tour of their distillery.

Aberdeen Association
Following Queen Victoria’s first visit to Deeside in 1848, a number of Aberdeenshire tradespeople found custom with the Balmoral Estate, the Monarch’s private home in Scotland. In 1871, the Aberdeen Association was formally constituted, and it joined the national Association in 1931.
