John Lobb Ltd

Clothing & Accessories

Unique in the world of shoe making, John Lobb was established in 1849 and is today run by the fifth successive generation of the Lobb family. As well as making bespoke handmade-to-measure shoes and boots, the company also makes a wide range of bespoke leather goods.
From its premises in St James's Street, London, John Lobb has for generations been making shoes and boots for the great and good around the world, including Enrico Caruso, Frank Sinatra, Lord Olivier, Harold Macmillan and Eva Gardner.

The very personal and bespoke nature of their work means they can cater for the most discerning tastes and requirements and produce a unique pair of shoes or boots for each customer.

Their current premises were described by Esquire magazine as "the most beautiful shop in the world", and within their workshops craftsmen and women still make shoes and boots to the same exacting standards of the original John Lobb.
