Dairy Crest Limited is a leading British dairy company. We make the nation's favourite cheese, Cathedral City and Davidstow cheddar at our creamery in Cornwall. We also make Yorkshire Wensleydale, Country Life butter, Clover, Utterly Butterly, Vitalite, Willow, Frylight and Sheese - all of which are produced in the UK.
We have seven well invested sites across the UK including, our creamery at Davidstow, Cornwall. It has a long history of making award winning mature Cheddar from our dedicated, local milk pool of some 350 dairy farmers each of whom provide premium quality milk. We pride ourselves on the close working relationship we have with our farmers, many of whom have supplied us for several decades.
Our success has been built on our links to the countryside, our dairy heritage and our people. We continue to ensure that we set the highest standards for responsible business practice. In 2019, Dairy Crest Limited was acquired by Saputo Inc., a Canadian company listed on the Toronto stock exchange.
