Charles Perry Restorations are conservators and restorers of antique furniture and objects from all periods and countries. We are able to provide restoration services including cabinet repairs, veneer loss replacement, hand polishing and waxing, traditional upholstery, carving and gilding, boulle and ormolu, to name but a few.
Our workshop is located on the Earl and Countess of Verulam's Estate on the outskirts of the historic Roman city of St Albans, and only 40 minutes' drive from central London. Our skilled staff have such qualifications as the British Antique Dealers' Association West Dean College Diploma, the London College of Furniture City and Guilds Certificate, and BAFRA membership. All clients receive personal attention and each project is given a written restoration programme. We are also listed on the Institute for Conservation register (ICON). Notable commissions include post-fire damage restoration at Windsor Castle and Hampton Court. We have over 40-years association with Christie's of London.
