Alba Trees are one of the UK's largest tree nursery and specialise in growing trees and shrubs for both environmental and commercial forestry as well as producing a wide range of plants for landscape projects.

Alba was formed in 1988 as a plc company and raised 1.75 million pounds via the Business Expansion Scheme. Alba's modern nursery facilities are located in East Lothian, Scotland and at presnt produce in excess of 6 million trees annually. Recently the UK's largest landowner, The Duke of Buccleuch took a 60% shareholding in Alba Trees.

Alba have an annual turnover in excess of £1.6 millon, employ 33 full time staff and up to 20 seasonal workers and have successfully sold nearly 100 million trees into the British landscape.
