Established in 1884, Mylands is Britain’s oldest, family-owned paint and polishes manufacturer. Over 5th generation, Mylands has quietly but proudly crafted quality paints and wood finishes in Lambeth, London. Beautiful yet durable, Mylands’ colours are rich and pure, with an exceptional warmth and depth of colour.
Mylands’ knowledge and expertise in their craft has earned its reputation among the most discerning and demanding clientele: the preferred paint of the British Film, TV and theatre industry, Mylands has featured in major film and television productions including Harry Potter, James Bond and Game of Thrones. It has also long lasting partnerships with art institutions as the Dulwich Picture Gallery and the National portrait gallery.
As testament to its expertise, Mylands was awarded a Royal Warrant in 1985.
Mylands’ colours are expertly blended using only superior quality ingredients and natural earth pigments.
Sustainability and innovation remain at the heart of our business: in 2012, we launched our Plant Based paints. In 2023, we launched our latest innovation, a sustainable, natural, Olive Stone Emulsion with an impressive 56% bio-based content. This plant-based paint contains ground olive stones which are a by-product of the olive oil industry.
The company showroom in Lambeth is open to trade and private clients Monday to Friday .
